Doug I hope the landscape is still inspiring you. I was reminded of you when someone said yesterday - we are never heroes in our home town. I get the intuitive feeling your 'san francisco perspective' might be deeply appreciated in other parts of the 'States. Just a thought d

Street Wisdom was an enlightening experience! The city I've called home for nearly 15 years beckoned me to go deeper and to see her in a completely new light. It offered perspective, patience, attention, surprising new windows to open to find fresh opportunity everywhere in the present moment. I took several photos of iconic architecture and some of abstract patterns, creating visual metaphors, both of my walks outside and that which was within. Thanks David and SW crew for making this journey of discovery possible!

I discovered the sacred even deeper in the city streets. I walked with a question about reinvigorating my marketing platform as an author. I found myself off Columbus street, standing in front of Jack Kerouac's quotes painted on walls. Jack, one of my first inspirations as a writer years ago...returning as a beacon now.

One of my favorite moments was when I entered the women's bathroom on our walk of seeing beauty everywhere. The dingy bathroom neutralized into the radiance that lights everything. The indifferent, elderly ladies waiting in line began to smile as I couldn't help smiling.

Thank you David!

Usually when I walk around thinking about a problem or question I have I'm in a kind of tunnel vision mode, not really seeing the sights around me. As soon as we started the Street Wisdom exercises I was looking keenly at all the lovely and interesting things I was walking by. I'll have to remind myself of this and make it a practice. It was a great experience! Thank you, David!
